Final Project – Event Management Project
To enable students to:
l Learn the process of event and stage management
l Understand the creating process of an event: include mission, theme, objective, concept,
planning, budgeting, site selection, and show execution.
l Train up the presentation skills by using basic tools

conference or event may be based on an existing activity but students should incorporate
their own ideas as to its strategy and execution based on concepts covered in the course.
l Each event team consists of 3-4 students
l This assignment contributes 40% of your CA marks.
l Presentations will be 5-8 minutes long and time limits will be strictly enforced.
l In addition to Powerpoint, you may make use of any appropriate visual aids.
l Your work would be assessed based on the following scheme:
Organization and Event background
Vision, Mission, Objectives, Environmental Analysis
Marketing of the Event (include online)
Financial Management of the Event
Human Resources Management
Execution of Event (Cue List preparation)
Quality of documentation
Teamwork and Individual contribution
l The documentation includes:
Show Cue List
l Group presentation and individual presentation are counted.
l All the components of the project MUST in ONE report folder with printout and e-version
