Throughout this class my eyes have been opened over and over again to the way I think about different worldviews. A person’s worldview is determined though their beliefs and their morals. Though my worldview is Christian someone else’s can be completely different. Just because someone’s worldview is different than mine does not mean that their worldview is wrong. As a Christian I believe that we all have a purpose in life and that everything happens for a reason. It is what we do in our life that is important. I believe that as humans our purpose is to serve God and treat others with kindness. This is not always as easy as it seems though. With the help of God though it is possible to treat others the way he wants us to. My sole purpose in like is my family, especially my children. I know that our children are our future and if they are raised in a good Christian environment they will go far and hopefully do what God would like them to do. Religion is very important to me even though I do not always go to church or do what I should at all times. I believe that you do not have to go to church to believe in God. My beliefs are strong though and I know that God will always be there for me if I call upon him. He has promised all his children that if we are believers that he will be there for us in our time of need and that he will not turn his backs on us. By knowing God and how much he loves me makes me a better person who helps others whenever I am able to, because I know that will make him happy.
My worldview is simple compared to a Christian worldview because they are the same and they always have been. At the beginning of this class I thought it was going to be easy and I would fly right through it. I did not even see a reason for having to take it to tell the truth. I have always known that I was a Christian, but I did not know it was considered a worldview, I thought is just was. Nothing will ever be able to change my worldview because my beliefs are so strong. This class was just...
