INTRODUCTION
People spend a lot of hours using the internet now-a-days. Let’s take a look at evolution of web and its latest technologies. Web has many generations and has been improving in every generation. Previous generations of web are web 1.0 and web 2.0 which are non-semantic. Web 3.0 is upcoming web revolution “the semantic web”, a personalized place with intelligent search where content is generalized by machines rater than humans. Virtual items and information become more valuable than physical items. Semantic is nothing but understanding the data, it is the basic concept in web 3.0. Innovative technologies like google glass project augmented reality make this web 3.0 possible. Web 3.0 works on the principle “Data alone is not enough, we need knowledge too”, web 3.0 combines the given data with the knowledge it already has through our previous interaction with the computer and gives us structured results. Unlike today’s search engine which retrieves data basing on the key words we give, it will retrieve the results by identifying the whole data with the keywords we gave, mining it and linking it to form a reasonable answer to the question we search.
