Tax fraud is something that seems to be on the rise these days, especially due to those that are completing their returns electronically, which is known as e-filling. I’m in North Carolina and there is a big mess going around about the voters now having to show proof of who they are because these electronic machines aren’t catching the discrepancies. Electronic voter fraud is a major problem with voting today and future elections to come. There is a possibility that some states will start to allow voters to be able to vote from the comfort of their own homes, the problem this brings is there is no way of knowing whether the computer has recorded a vote accurately or even recorded at all, and lastly there is no way for elections officials to conduct a verifiable recount if things actually go wrong. This is something that I definitely wouldn’t agree with, voter elections are very important and certain things just needs to be left to old ways, such as votes being conducted at an actual voter site.
