Kudler Fine Foods
Kudler Fine Foods was established in 1998, without direct competition, as a specialty food store in San Diego, California; by Kathy Kudler. The first shop was opened in La Jolla in 1998; as sales persistently increased; Kathy thought about opening one more store and use the same model, subsequently the second store was open in Del Mar in 2000. ...view middle of the document...
And there is a non-existent legal structure.
Increase customer trustworthiness and profitability as well as acquire new customers. Find a way to advertise in local publications to target the local customers. Improve process efficiency. Close the Del Mar store and open a new Carlsbad location by June 2009.
Efforts to Resolve Issues
The management labor to resolve the above opportunities and accomplish the goals focuses on:
• Lunching a website to capitalize not only on local customers, furthermore on people from outside that can have access to the benefits that the organization offers.
• Setting up of Deli counters in each store; for the reason that they are indispensable in specialty stores like these.
• Develop new software to improve inventory and ordering system to reduce the costs and the cycle time and an employee training program.
If the management action to address this opportunities succeed, Kudler Fine Foods as an organization is eager to continue its growth and spread out the business in the next five years to different areas like: Scottsdale, Arizona; Naples, Florida; and Greenwich, Connecticut in addition to San Francisco, California
