Ladakh is situated at the northern most part of India. In state of Jammu and Kashmir state at the Kargil and Leh. Overwhelm yourself with the virgin beauty of shimmering lakes, gurgling rivers, proud mountains, mystic lamas and loving people. Ladakh is a retreat for the urban dweller from the daily humdrum of cosmopolitan life in to the caressing lap of nature.

Arrive in Leh . over night in Hotel/ Guest house.
Day 04 Local sight seen Today we proceed for a day excursion to Indus Valley visiting the impressive Shey Palace- was the seat of power of the king of Ladakh, who constructed the hill top fortress. The ruins can be seen above the present Shey Palace. Shey was also first capital of Ladakh. The Palace was built in the beginning of the 17th century AD, the main image in the monastery is the three storey statue of Buddha, made of copper.
From here we start our guided walk to Thiksey monastery, takes about 1 hr. the trail pass through the white stupas and lush & green valley surrounded by barley fields. Arrive Thiksey and visit the imposing Thikse monastery, quite resemblance to the Potala Palace in Lhasa (Tibet). The monastery belongs to the Gelukspa (Yellow hat) order of Tibetan Buddhism. Around 80 monks resides here at present. Further we continue our drive to Hemis alongside Indus river. At Hemis visit the 17th century Changchubling gompa- considered to the richest monastic establishment in Ladakh. The gompa is famous for its annual monastic festival held every year in June-July months. Later we drive back to Leh (43 km/ 2 hrs). overnight inl. Leh

Day05 Leh – Nubra –via Khardong la pass (18380 fts)(5-6 hrs)(125 km
Today drive over the Khardung La Pass 5602 m high above sea level, is the highest motorable road in the World. Enjoy an outstanding view of Indus valley & Karakuram mountain range from top of the pass The Temperature is low on k- top ,so carry heavy jacket and gloves .We have overnight in beautiful guest house located in the lush green Hunder valley with a garden and restaurant. Evening explore this beautiful village & visit to local kitchen and interact with local residents with cup of butter tea. Over night in Hunder village Guest house.
Day 06 Hunder to panimik, Summor.
(1)=Full day exploring the Nubra Valley visiting monasteries, double humped Bactrian double humped camel, people working on the field and beautiful landscape.

The Nubra Valley was first opened to outsiders in 1994 and remains a restricted area. Fertile green villages stand out in the desert-like environment along the Nubra and Shyok rivers which flow in the wide valley floor formed by the Karakoram Mountains to the north and the Ladakh Range to the south.
