No doubt that Mazey is an aggressive communicator who always tries to manipulate people to do what he wants. One of the representative examples is that when Frazer first met Mazey he was shocked by Mazey’s outrageous behavior of ordering him to stand “right here” and pointing a spot in front of his desk. There are several options for Frazer to choose: to negotiate with Mazey, to compromise with Mazey’s leadership style, to say nothing but suffering or to quit and find another job. It is likely doesn’t work to negotiate with Mazey because he has high self-confidence that he will deny every negative personalities he has and every suggestions given by the others. Nonfeasance and resign are also not good choices. The best option for Frazer would be find a way for Frazer and Mazey to compromise. As a qualified leader, one should switch his/her leadership style in terms of employees’ style. For example, when facing employees who with low skill and High motivation, an influence style would be more suitable while a direction style would be appropriate when dealing with low...
