The Time Machine
The author of this book was Herbert George Wells, also known as HG Wells. The book was
published in 1895. HG Wells was born in 1866 and died in 1946. He was an English author.
The Time Traveler: The main character in the book. He didnâ€™t have a name so in the
book, the name given to him was â€œThe Time Traveler.â€ The Time Traveler was an inventor
living in London.
Weena: Weena is an Eloi, the human race of the future. It is female, according to The Time
Traveler, and also a harmless creature. The Time Traveler saves her from being washed away by
the flow of the river the Eloi bathe in.
After the Time Traveler finished his meal, he briefly
explained why he was so worn out and tired â€“ The Time Traveler had been traveling through
time. His time machine had brought him to the future, in the year of 802, 701. He finds himself
in a world full of people called Eloi, who are small and peaceful, and they adore him. The Time
Traveler explored the fantastic future world and sleeps. The next day, The Time Traveler woke
up to find his invention was GONE. He searched for it and finally found that it was in a white
building. He tried to open it but it wouldnâ€™t budge. As the night came, The Time Traveler
discovered that another people lived with the Eloi called Morlocks. Following days, he becomes
companions with a female Eloi named Weena after saving her from a river. With Weena, he
went out to find a better, safer shelter to hide from the frightening Morlocks who happen to be
afraid of light. The Time Traveler and Weena head out for a green building which happened to
be a museum filled with weapons he can use to fight and keep away...
