The Holy Trinity Essay

The Holy Trinity
GOD THE FATHER
As the name shows, HE IS THE FATHER, The creator of everything. The one true God. In the Old Testament, we can see the working of God the Father with prophets and chosen people of Israel. In many places, He reveals himself to some people. And he tells them, who He is.

In Exodus 3:14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” That is the answer for the people who ask about God the Father. He is infinite, just beyond our human imagination. He is the one who created you and me. He is the creator of heaven and earth, all things visible and invisible, he has created them.

In Isaiah 46:9 God again says to his people “I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and ...view middle of the document...

Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,” (Jeremiah 1:4)

“You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.” (Jeremiah 1:7)

Jeremiah 1: 19 - They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.

Joshua 1: 7-9 :“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.  Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Therefore, we better stop asking now, that who God is. God the Father has revealed in the Old Testament that He is love, and he cares for His children. He is God! Even if your parents forsake you, don’t worry because you have a Father in heaven looking at you always and smiling at you. He will never leave you. He is always with you. Before you were formed in your mother’s womb, God the Father knew you, He knew what sins you are going to commit, he knows everything about you. God the Father created the world, everything that you can see and you can’t see in this world. Without a creator there is no creation. He is eternal, ever living, almighty, all-knowing, everlasting God!

God the Son

Jesus the son, God the Fathers self-revelation on earth!

In the Old Testament God didn’t reveal himself, so how will we able to know him? Can we know him? Well, I will say, God did try to reveal Himself as is in Exodus 19. On Mount Sinai, He came down as Himself, with all his power. But what happened? the earth couldn’t bear the power of God the Father, and the people of Israel got frightened. In the new testament we can see through whom did god reveal the kingdom of heaven, the answer is Jesus! He is the self-revelation of God the Father on Earth. God became humble, and came down to earth in the form of an human being and lived with His people. God the Father was in Jesus and Jesus was in God the Father that means, they both were one God!

John 14:9-10
“Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?  Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.”

Matthew 11:27
“All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

Therefore, the...
