When I think about organizational behavior and why is, it so important for individuals to understand the terminology and concepts of organizational behavior, I think about the meanings of both organization and behavior. Organization has several meanings, one is the act or process of organizing and another one is a group of people who work together to perform duties and goals. Diversity is many differences between people in an organization. Diversity is many races, different genders, many ethnic groups, different ages, different personalities, cognitive styles, organizational functions, education, backgrounds and very much more all in one workplace or organization. Diversity goes efficiently ahead of employment justice to the developing surroundings that values differences while maximizing the capability of all employees. A diversity organization includes a needs analysis, executive management foundation and dedication, instruction and guidance, culture and management systems changes and continual follow-up and evaluation (Clark, 2009).
Communication is many aspects of an organization. Open communication allows employees to believe as if they are valued, appreciated, and important in their organization. Communication lets employees feel comfortable enough to talk to their boss about any situation that may arise. Communication ensures that all problems and situations are well taken care of. Ineffective communication in the organization results in confusion, lack of teamwork, low morals, and the job not being complete.
Business ethics are defined as applied ethics that examine the ethical principles, along with ethical or moral problems, arising inside a business environment. There’s a demand for business ethics today. Business ethics are demanded in both the form of processes and actions. Every organization has its general business ethics and expects to follow them. The major aim of business ethics is to determine the basic purpose of an organization.
