Bees' Circus is a children's play group program unlike other's in its area. Their mission is to help young children grow through positive, parent guided activities based on social, intellectual, and physical development. They offer a variety of classes and service families with children aged newborn to four years old. Barbara Miller is the co-owner of Bees' Circus and has been an educator for twenty years. The materials management system is undeveloped; the venue, supplies, curriculum, etc. are all unaccounted for within the obvious figures. The advertising has plenty of room for improvement. While they are going to directly aim advertising at their target population, a communitywide broadcast may be a more effective way to gain attention. They could also advertise at doctor's offices and infant stores, to target and reserve future customers. While word of mouth is effective, especially regarding parents of young children, customer security could easily be established through broadening their marketing horizons.
There are numerous opportunities for program and community growth. Bees' Circus currently provides services for families of newborns through their first four years. Therefore opportunities arise for "big sib" extended programs; that would in return secure and services customers for extended years to come. As demand and word of mouth increases, there is area for growth in opening additional centers. Especially considering Bees' Circus is the only one of its kind in the area, they could monopolize the play group scene. Expansion of centers would mean more employment opportunities and possibly more class choices. They are already services their customers' interest in that they are offering birthday parties. This...
