The next member covers the areas such as Corporate Affairs, Human Resources, and the Pharmaceutical area. Other members cover several areas: Corporate Research and Development, Technology Departments, Packaging, Design, and Regulatory Affairs. We have two members that cover the Strategic Business Unit, Demand Generation Unit, and Strategic Foodservice Division. We also have a member that covers the areas of the Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Safety, Health and Environment, Agriculture, and the Operations Performance. These members have stayed on top of their game by making sure that all operations of the Nestle company are able to work side by side as a team, showing progress, while at the same time keeping up with customer satisfaction. What are the characteristics of the Current Competitive Landscape: Globalization, Technology, Knowledge, Strategic Flexibility, Quality, and Profit Pool. With Nestle being a Swiss company, we are still growing globally and are in over 100 countries. It is important for the company to focus on different cultures and listen to our customers regarding cultural aspects, around the world. We must making sure that we continue to show consideration for the countries where our products are sold and produced. (About Us, 2010) With Globe, it is used by unlocking the ability of Nestle globally by, leveraging the companies size and using it as a strength in the rapidly changing in the global environment. It also allows Nestle to be more competitive in other markets around the world by allowing Nestle to manage the complexity with the operational efficiency. The use of GLOBE has allowed us to pick up the pace of the benefits and prepares the market for a smooth system achievement. With GLOBE the future of Nestle, will move at a faster rate when it comes to sharing and implementing the best new practices, provide better information when it comes to making decisions, allow all the services to be shared, and being able to focus more on generating activities in demand.
