1. What do you believe to be the long-term results and the value of completing a degree in higher education?

I feel that the most valuable thing about getting a degree in higher education has to be starting my career. Working is a blessing in itself, especially in this economy that we live in today. I just feel that working for a salary has more promise than working for wages. For me professionally having my degree will get me to where I want and need to be in my life. I can officially be the bread winner in my household. Right now my wife is a teacher, and she makes about fifteen thousand dollars more than I do for a living. As a man it does something to me to say this. It’s not something that has to do with ego, but as a man I want to be able to say that if my wife is unable to work because of pregnancy then it shouldn’t be an issue for her to do that. I have planned to turn in all of my assignments on time for the remainder of my time in school. I have to resources to get my work done so it should not be any excuses. I know that in order for me to make good grades, have a successful career, and make the money that I want to make then it starts with the work I put in from here on out.
