When a person or persons decides to start a business, there are several things they need to consider, first of all a strategic management plan will need to be outlined determining the what, where, and how of the business. This will include deciding the different divisions that will make up the business and the roles these areas will play in the day to day operation of the company. The plan will entail establishing the short and long term objectives for each division and incorporating the goals into one single arrangement. The strategic planning committee included five board members and three staff on the management team.
The board and employees will meet on a monthly basis to review the mission, and vision statement, as well as the key operating principles, and assumptions that clarify the company’s work approach.
Mission Statement
Riggenbach’s Auto Restoration specializes in the repair and refurbishment of vehicles, such as cars, trucks, and motorcycles making them look and run as if they were fresh off the assembly line. The company works hard and strives to ensure that the values established are followed and ensuring customer satisfaction. Those values include break through the auto restoration marketplace in the North Houston area within the next six months. The company’s objective is to promote to the local area to marketing the business in Spring and the surrounding areas, the target market is vehicle owners with a desire to bring the pizzazz of their vehicle back to new (Businessplansample.ca). Plans to expand the business after five successful years to Conroe, Sugar Land, and the Pasadena areas are in place. Increasing the profitability of the company is a key objective, providing top notch restorations at a reasonable price will result in an increase of business and eliminate competition in the area. Riggenbach’s Auto Restoration provides excellent customer service and a stress free billing and payment process will keep customers coming back and encourage them to spread the word of the service provided. Having reliable, and confident staff will permit a decrease in the owners’ concern in the day to day administrative responsibilities from 50% to 20% of their time, this allows them more time to focus on the sales and marketing duties of the business as well as letting them participate in the actual restorations and repairs of the vehicles.
Principals and values
Another important element of Riggenbach’s Auto Restoration is the principal and values. These principles are basically guidelines that are viewpoints directing a company through situations that can affect its continuation, despite any change in its objective, plans, and services.
