What seems to come to your mind when you think of culture wars? In my opinion, a culture war involves violent acts portrayed against one another’s own culture. However, when I looked at the definition it defines as; “a metaphor used to claim that political conflict is based on sets of conflicting cultural values. The term frequently implies a conflict between those values considered traditional conservative and those considered progressive or liberal. The "culture war" is sometimes traced to the 1960s and has taken various forms since then” (www.wikipedia.org).

In general, my personal opinion would have to go with Liberals for many reasons. The first reason why I would prefer to be a Liberal over a Conservative is because I am a very open-minded person and willing to try new ideas and things in life. I am very outgoing and can get along with just about anyone; they say I don’t meet any strangers. Also, the world is changing more and more almost everyday, so why would I not want to keep up with what is going on instead of being stuck in the old way of life. Another reason why I would prefer to be a Liberal rather than a Conservative is because I am all for the following: Pro-choice, Pro-Gay, and Anti-gun. In my opinion, people should be allowed to choose the option of Pro-choice if they would like to. You may not know what an individual might be going through mentally, emotionally, socially, physically and so on. Also, I love gay people, especially the men, so I don’t see what’s wrong with it. If that is what they want...
