SUBJECT: Progress Report
This report provides a narrative of my performance in the Technical Communications course and my plan for the way-ahead to complete the 2012 Fall Semester, including my expected resulting grade in the class. The class is currently in the sixth week of the semester. The class has completed four chapters of coursework covered in the textbook and three of the assignments identified on the on-line WebCT page. The course of instruction is now 37.5% complete.
The work that has been assigned since the beginning of class, August 20, 2012, has been on time and organized. I have been busy with the work that has been assigned and have been studying to keep up.

The three quizzes completed are outlined in the table below indicating the date due and the grade received. Each of the quizzes that were completed before the due date. I have put much effort into each quiz and I make sure that I dedicate the same amount of studying time for each one.

There are still seven assignments to complete before the semester is over and I plan to continue what I have been doing to get good grades.
These assignments each come with their own established guidelines to follow. I plan on still treating each assignment as important and will follow each chapter of instruction specifically to receive the maximum points possible.

There are still seven quizzes to complete before the semester is over. Each quiz covers a different chapter, but this does not change my studying method. When there is a chapter I do not understand I reread and analyze the chapter to better understand. I get assistance or advice from others who are experienced in business communications. I like to think of each quiz as a teaching method to myself to show that I have understood the purpose and information.
I plan to improve my performance on assignments because I am determined to get the maximum points necessary. Although English is not my first language, I am not going to let this be a barrier for me to improve my work. I want to improve my writing structure to more closely follow the instructions of the assignment, make my assignments more reader centered, and remember to include dates.
I plan to progress and improve until I have reached the goal of achieving the maximum points possible on each future assignment. With the progress that I have made and the goals I intend to achieve, I anticipate that I will receive an A in the class.
