Executive Summary:

Background:
Information technology has transformed the way companies conduct business. Technology allows businesses to automate manual operations and process information much faster. The objective of the report is to discuss and understand the evolution of global businesses before and after the integration of Internet and the importance of Internet in modern business operation. The research will yield a report of 1600- 2000 words and a short class presentation on the report.

The information you need would be delivered as shown below. All dates assume a project start date of April 19, 2012.

Structure:
The report will consist of five parts. First part will give a brief introduction on the importance of internet in modern business operations along with the background, objectives, scope, methodology and structure. Second part will attempt to look how global business evolved before the integration of internet. Third Part will focus on how the internet transformed businesses in the world. Third part will illustrate the integration of World Wide Web and internet in today’s business operations. The fifth part will conclude with some recommendation. The basic structure would be as follows:

Part-III: Internet and Modern Business Operations
Part-IV: Conclusion
