The research aims to determine if gadgets have an effect to the academic performances of the 1st year 7BSED students for the second semester of school year 2014 - 2015. Specifically, it sought to answer the following problems:
1. What are the positive effects of gadgets to the academic performance of students?
2. What are the negative effects of gadgets to the academic performance of the students?
3. What are the possible solutions to overcome the spending of too much time for using gadgets?

Hypotheses

Null:
Gadgets have no significant effect in the academic performance of the 1st year 7BSED students for the second semester of school year 2014 – 2015.

Alternative:
Gadgets have a significant effect in the academic performance of the 1st year 7BSED students for the second semester of school year 2014 – 2015.
