Executive Summary

This proposal is for the Solar powered mini car. This basically a small device which helps us understand the concept of converting solar energy to electrical energy and using the energy to run a toy car. This mechanism is highly useful for larger scale production such as actual cars or any vehicles because it uses less fuel and is eco-friendly since no toxic gases are emitted.
Hoewever since this project is not as complex, we are only using the solar energy to generate a small motor and run the toy car. When placed in a sunny enviroment the energy will be absorbed by the solar panel and ...view middle of the document...

There are many application can be found were using solar panel to powered the energy. Solar cell is a device that converts the energy of sunlight directly into electricity by the photovoltaic effect. The main focus of this project is to design the mini race car with environmentally friendly materials and powered by solar panel. The energy produce may not been keep it, but connect directly to the motor.
This is the concept of the project. The development of this solar powered mini car will give a clear idea of how we can implement this idea to all our vehicles in real life
The techinacal specifications, the larger project analysis is all eloborated in latter parts of this proposal.

Project Description

In this project, the main objectives should be given attention is how to design a solar car that has the potential to run on solar energy. In part, this means identifying and testing a broad range of tools and techniques.
This project consists of three main elements which are panel solar, motor and mini car. The panel solar is used to power the motor and transmit to car shaft. The solar panel need to choose wisely since they are types with high and low efficiency accordingly. The car created is main mechanism to measure the overall efficiency of the objective project.
A motor is connected to the solar panel and this circuit will be attached to the body of the mini toy car. Solar energy absorbed from the solar panel will activate the motor thus running the toy car. If the car will run for atleast 10 seconds, the objective of the project has been reached. However since this a small scale project the efficiency of the project is also very minute. Very complex materials will not be used so that we can limit our work to a lesser duration.
