Universities. You can be a good manager, but may not be able to lead people and be a good
leader and not be able to manage. Many leaders face challenges of earning trust and
commitment of organizational members. Trustworthiness can help with the evaluation of a
person who has low self-worth. The interpersonal trustworthiness is an individual
assessment of the likelihood that another party can be trusted to honor duties inherent within a

leadership model that integrates a commitment to values and outcomes by optimizing the long-
term interests of stakeholders and society and honoring the moral duties owed by organizations

personal transformation of self and the ability to reframe how one views the world. If one
views the worth as optimistic then it is easier to follow their method of helping with the
situations. Transformative leadership rises to the level of ethical stewardship when leaders create
integrated organizational systems (Caldwell, C., Dixon, R., Floyd, L., Chaudoin, J., Post, J., &
Cheokas, G. 2012).
Trustworthiness helps with the individual assessment of self-worth. The trustworthiness
of the parties helps duties within an organization. Scholars have identified the leader and
follower relationship as a series of psychological contracts that raise the level of a binding
contract. The trustworthiness is a subjective perception interpreted by a party. Leaders must
earn the trust of the followers by being trustworthy and accountable. A leader who does not give
their followers any recognition, may create a problem of self-worth. The virtue of honoring the
commitments owed to integrate goals and values. Trustworthiness can also be the trust that a
manager may have in the employees. A manager who cannot trust their employees means that
they may have an unreliable employee in many cases. In other cases in business, they may have
a very dependable or reliable employee, but may not be able to trust them doing certain
responsiblies that may require extra supervision.
