The Cuban missile crisis was one of the greatest events in the United States. The crisis in October 19 to October 28, 1962 was a main cold war between the United States and the Soviet Union. Individual-level analysis is the view on how people make policy. Therefore, individual level analysis involves understanding how the human makes decisions in groups. I chose realism because it deals with leaders, decision in times of crises. And the realist side focuses on the fight and states and the sign of power. To explain this analysis I will be using realism. Realism deals with intelligent thinking and power. This event in history dealt with intelligent thinking and power, because without these U.S may have had a nuclear war. Kennedy general was a great leader, especially after this event. He saved the United States by using his good skills and his great thinking. He had a meeting with the Joint Chiefs of Staff and these meetings helped him decide what to do and how to go about doing it. Power is something that is very realist. Realists use power to get what they want. This works certainly in politics. You can make countries, leaders, and people do what you want them to do if you have lots of power. People are afraid of pressure and pressure is a part of realism. Realism is a part of our lives. We use pressure and power against others also in politics and crises.
