1. Any students enrolling in a practicum within the department must attend a MANDATORY ORIENTATION prior to the semester in which the practicum will be taken. The orientation will generally be planned before the end of the first semester.
2. The practicum site will be assigned by the practicum supervisor or chosen by the practicumer. In the latter case, s/he has to request for a formal approval from the practicum supervisor. The School/Program Coordinator will advise and assist with job placement.
3. Student enrolled in the practicum must obtain training/employment at least three weeks after the start of semester. There are NO EXCEPTIONS
4. An admitted practicumer should abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the institution / company where s/he is undergoing internship.
5. Students are required to report once a week to the Practicum adviser.
6. Students must maintain and submit a weekly report of their work related activities to the practicum adviser. Weekly Submission
7. Employer/supervisor evaluations during the term are required. PER will be given by the department to the partner company at least thrice in the duration of training.
8. In case of dismissal, lay off or any other condition that leads to unemployment/termination, the student must find new employment/company within two weeks. And automatically apply the BACK TO ZERO policy.
9. A final term paper of the off campus work related activities is required.
10. A certificate of completion must be submitted at the end of the training program.
