Cosmetic surgery is not just for the rich and famous, you can finance any procedure these days to make you look better. People are so quick to want to change something about their appearance in hopes to have a better life. Even in today’s economy, people are so quick to dispose of their income in the hopes of a better appearance. Young girls and women think that cosmetic procedures will help with their low self- esteem, lack of self-confidence, and lack of like for their less than perfect body image. Why is it that women find that happiness and success are only achieved by physical perfection? Our values have changed in our culture; we have a desire to have a perfect body. Gone are the days of beauty coming from within. The media has provided us with a distorted vision of beauty.
