Personal Values
What are values? Values are qualities, standards, or principles individual’s uses as driving forces that influence their actions and reactions. Values are also considered psychological objects that we cannot see or touch, but are considered physical objects (Posner, 2010). Types of values include ethical or moral values, personal values, or core values (Fiset, 2007). “Values, personal values, and core values all refer to the same thing” (Best of Time Management, 2008). Individuals who value family or friendship sacrifice their personal interests for the good of others (Posner, 2010). With valuing my family and friends, I also values goodness. It is hard for me to do something I know is wrong.

Kuddler Fine Foods Values
After reading the information on Kuddler Fine Foods (KFF), I discovered values the organizations implement and some they needs to implement. KFF have the following values: satisfying customers or customer satisfaction, hard work, and commitment. Although KFF have some good values they implement; they also need to implement collaboration and continuous improvement or progress in the organization.
Customer Satisfaction
KFF commitment to trusting the customer is implemented strongly in the organization. KFF have slogans posted in departments honoring their customer’s satisfaction. In the bakery department, KFF offers free purchase if the customers are not satisfied with their baked goods; and in the meat and produce department they order special requests and special orders.
Hard Work
Hard work is considered one of the keys to success in life and work (Posner, 2010). Kathy Kudler, president of KFF is considered a hard worker. When it comes to implementing hard work, KFF president, Kathy Kudler enforces this value. Kathy does all the work in her organization. She established the culture and is the main management person in KFF (Kudler Fine Foods,). Kathy does all the hiring, firing, inventory, weekly orders, and controls the finance in the organization. Being a hard worker is a good value, but sometimes individuals must know when to give some of the responsibilities they have to others so it want be a threat to you later.
