Responsibility is the action taken to uphold you on a personal level to let yourself become a better person. Being responsible especially on a personal level is not an easy task as it also deals with ethics, morals and being dependable and the sort in a sense that is a responsibility in its self. My number one responsibility is being responsible for my actions and suffering the consequences if I do something wrong. In the same sense if I do what’s right I will reap the rewards so to say.  I should have the decency to uphold the standards to not steal someone else's work because if I did steal someone else's work; It would take away from the time and energy they put into the work they showed.  Also, it would give others the impression I worked harder than what I actually did.
 I believe it's very important to uphold academic integrity in my coursework because only I can obtain this degree on my own.  I want it to reflect myself as a student and not someone else's doing my work.  Jobs look at degrees very seriously and that reflects on your character as well.  Education is the most important thing to guide someone forward in life and it cannot be taken away no matter how hard someone may try. Education is very overlooked in a personal sense because people would rather not work towards difficult goals instead they pass them up.
