Personal Responsibility Essay Draft
My opinion, personal responsibility means taking responsibility for my own actions, knowing willingly that, with the responsibility of my own actions, comes the accepting that any action taken has consequences, and with those consequences, could directly or indirectly affect myself and the people around me. Adding personal responsibility into my education will allow my success as a student. Making sacrifices within your personal life will allow the time needed for a better education. Making an outline of your personal responsibility for your education would be a good start for your quest to be a great student.

      Combining your personal life with college is not always the easiest thing to accomplish. Within life you have to set values in your everyday life so that you can move forward with your goals. Being healthy is another issue that needs to be addressed, while making time for both your personal and educational life can be overwhelming at times. That’s why it is very important to keep your health at good standings. Also, while you continue your education as an adult, you have to make sacrifices in your life to continue your education with success. While you choose to go back to college and change your personal life to being a fulltime student, you will have people in your life that will try to talk you out of your plans. Some people will continue working their personal life and their education, maybe because they have a family, a child or a caregiver to a relative that is sick.
      Outlining your personal responsibility for education will make you a better student. Make short term goals, while you take your classes. Make promises to yourself while making goals for your education; while you make a plan for your education it will make you more responsible as a person with your education. Time management would be another responsibility to learn, everyone has twenty four hours in a day, everyone needs to budget out there time wisely to gain a positive with personal responsibility. Without time management you could run out of time, or not have enough time to get things done, and that is important when you plan out your goals of both your personal and educational.
        Feedback from my facilitator and my fellow teammate was most valued and powerful for this essay, it has made me realized that not everyone is perfect in writing and to accept the good and bad that people see with your work. It is good to learn from what others see in your writing abilities. Diversity is very well needed in society and it helps us see different angles that most people might not notice.
