Performance and Career Management

The following will develop a performance and career management programs for the employees that I have selected for my team. I will plan work and set expectations, monitor the performance of my team, reward good performance, and rate the performance of my team in a systematic way. I feel that this is very important so that the employee knows that the company considers their education a valuable part of the company’s decision to keep them a part of the team for the long haul. Additionally, there are monthly e-courses offered during lunch and after work to improve sales performance and customer service management.
As a company, it is very important to allow dual career parents the opportunity for a solid work-life balance. Flex time is available as well as telecommuting. Also, as a sales rep, you are responsible for your leads and customer base. As long as these needs are being met and exceeded on a regular basis, you will be able to take time off as needed, though not excessively.
Diversity was very important to me when selecting our team. I wanted an accurate representation of the customer base that we serve and to have people in place that would be able to relate to customers well. I do not really feel that this diversity will hinder our team in any way and will more than likely, enhance it. If a team member feels like they need diversity training, I would be more than happy to offer it to them or to the team as a whole. However, I do not really feel...
