2.) I want my listeners to understand the funcionality of the three parts of the brain .
3.) The three parts of the brain are the forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain.

Functioning systems require something in control in order for survival. Your body is a functioning system and the brain is in control. Without your brain, your body would be an anarchy and could not survive.
