Organizational Consulting is a part of improving the structural links, rules of interaction, patterns of activity, the main production processes, taking into account the current state of the company, willingness to change management, innovation and challenges ahead. This paper will review the organizational development; identify theories associated with organizational development, and organizational consultation.

Literature Review
Organizational development is the systematic process of implementing change to increase the effectiveness of an organization and individual development. The purpose of organizational development to implement change; the change is done in effort to increase organizational effectiveness, similar to organizational psychology. Organizational development cannot be accomplished without to some extent delving into the realm of human behavior and delving into human behavior is the link between organizational psychology and organizational development. (University of Virginia Leadership Development Center, 2009).Organizational Development is important in our society today because organizations need development in order to achieve their missions and goals. In order to maintain competiveness, organizations must be willing to change. Organizations must continuously communicate with their employees and motivate them as well. With this employees will be able to trust and have confidence in their organization. In return turn employees will go along with the change with no resistance. (Mclean, G. N., Rothwell, W. J., & Sullivan, R. S, 2005)
The process of organizational development is a systematic, integrated, and planned approach to improving the effectiveness of a company” (Jex, Britt, 2008).Organizational development is the foundation and core of any organization, be it non-profit or profit based. Organizational development is process that all organizations go through to develop what they are going to do and how they are going to do it. (Jex, Britt, 2008). Organization Development is a development where organizations formulate the best plan for ultimate resourcefulness and the most efficient way to operate and sustain itself throughout an estimated period of time. Organization Development is the planned approach to improve worker and company effectiveness by mind full interventions in those processes and structures that have an immediate impact on the human aspect of the company. This definition focuses the obvious correlation among the creation and the accomplishment of the organization’s mission.
