Diversity is a difference between or similarity between people based on race, religion, education, gender. Benefits of diversity :
Higher creativity in decision making. In diversified work team, it is easy to come up with new ideas, because everyone has different side of views, different opinions. and it makes possible think out of box.
Better Understanding and service of customers.. For example, Walmart store advertised heavily in hispanic neighborhoods after chrismas eve, because they understand that Hispanics tend to exchange gifts in the same or after purchasing day. In diversified workforce, company better understand customers.

Deep level of diversity is not easy to noticeable, it includes our values,attitudes and beliefs…

4. need based theories.
Motivation is the desire to achieve a goal. Maslow hierarchy theory, by ascending order: physiological, safety, social, self-esteem, self-actualization. It states that to satisfy higher need you should satisfy the lower one. Physiological need are: food, air, water. Safety- health, body.. Social- love, friends, belonging. Self-esteem respect,feel important, self-actualization- new skills, new challenges. Erg theory is modification of Maslows’ theory. It groups Maslows factors into 3 groups. Existence includes Physiological and Safety needs, Relatedness- social, growth- self-actualization, self-esteem. Herzberg 2 Factors theory – there are Hygiene and motivators. Hygiene- salary, safety, working conditions. Motivators- interesting job, satisfaction, achievement. Motivators really encourgage employees to try harder.
