The Naza Group of Companies is Malaysia’s largest privately-owned conglomerate with businesses in the automotive industry, property development, food and beverage and hotel management to name a few.
The group traces its roots to a small motor trading company that was established by the late Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin in 1975. That motor trading company later expanded to include used-luxury vehicles.
Today, the Naza Group is led by its joint group executive chairmen – Datuk Wira SM Faisal SM Nasimuddin and SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin – and is one of the largest importers of used-luxury vehicles in Malaysia.

In the food and beverage industry, the Naza Group owns the rights to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co franchise in Malaysia and is the master license holder for the Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt brand in Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Brunei and Thailand.
As for hotel management, the Naza Group owns two hotels in Malaysia under the Naza Talyya Hotels brand as well as the Crowne Plaza in San Pedro, California and the Howard Johnson Inn in Torrance, California.
As a major player in the Malaysian automotive industry, the Naza Group has established several initiatives to train and develop talent. At Gurun, the group established the Naza Kia Academy to provide technical and management diploma programs to its employees.
The group also entered a partnership with Motorola University to offer executive development programs to the group’s employees. More recently, the Naza Group entered into a partnership with HELP International Corporation Bhd to establish a college of automotive and transportation management in Malaysia.
Apart from these industries, the Naza Group has subsidiaries involved in limousine services (Prestige Limo), transportation (Naza transport), taxi services (Zalnas Limousine and Naza Citycab), aftermarket accessories (NZ Galaxy), financing (Naza Credit and Leasing), auto insurance (Naza Coverage and Eight Valuation) and plantations (Wood Vision).
