Organisation and management of groups and teams:
Group is defined as collection of individuals who perform certain set of skills to reach the goal. Team is defined as collection members who performs complemented set of skills who acquires from a long career. It is more important for organistions like tesco to work together in teams and groups may be it is related to performance management, it depends upon how the management performed well to achieve target, what are the strategies included etc., Management divides the group of employees into teams, each team consists of new recruit or junior to work and team leader who performs total work information and deliver the results to management. Each team shares work like food storage, distribution of assembled goods, self labelling goods, customer service support, operations like security and opening and closing trading hours, marketing the organistion etc.,. Tesco also provides non-food retails like clothing, financial services, telecommunictions.
