STEP 1: WORKSHEET Using the remainder of our text, determine the motivational strategy or strategies that would likely be most appropriate for each of your three employees, based on their individual characteristics. Indicate how you would use their employee evaluations to motivate each of the three employees. Describe one or more of the motivational theories and explain how the theories connect to each of your selected motivational strategies (give page # citation from our text).

Summary of Assessments | Kelly is a motivated employee but needs to have a purpose to be motivated. She at times needs someone to tell her what needs to be done and when it needs to be done. Kelly will need to set up easy goals that will turn into more difficult goals. With this set up Kelly will be a more effective and motivated employee for herself and others. |
Motivational Strategy & Action Plan | Working with Kelly to set up goals that she can obtain with the help of other employees that she supervises will help her feel the importance of the job she has to do and a way to determine if she is making a difference within the company. STEP 2: PAPER ANALYSIS OF STRATEGIES: Below write a 500 to 700 word analysis about your Motivation Action Plan. Using your worksheet information above, address these employees collectively, considering how they will work together as well as fit into the organization, as well as individually. How will you leverage employee evaluations to motivate each of the three employees? Describe how the strategy selected connects to one or more of the motivational theories described in the text. Make connections with other theories as well. Use proper in-text citations within the paragraph and reference list citations in the bibliography (which follows) Recall that this is a hypothetical scenario and you are a manager at Riordan. As such, composition should reflect third-person objective view. Proper in-text (in paragraph) citations including page # and full citation in the bibliography of the following page is 10% of your grade on this assignment.
The three employee’s Teal, Joan, and Kelly all work for Riordan and are successful leaders. However, each one of them are different and have different beliefs that need to be determined when trying to understand how to get them motivated. It is important to treat each of them differently and to make sure that they are motivated to do the job in which they are assigned to do.
Teal, being the quality compliance auditor, will help to determine that the goals of the company are attained and that the employees are doing the jobs that need to be rewarded with raises and/or promotions. Using the equity theory with Teal will help her to understand the organizational justice for Riordan.
