3 (a) How does the motivation factor differ in young learners and adults .
MOTIVATION is a very abstract word which is the internal process that makes a person or a child to move towards a goal .
If we categorise the learning age group the young learners fall in the age group of 5 – 12 years. In this age the children are very curious and enthusiastic in nature .They just need a proper guidance and appreciation , they are mostly self-initiated, by appreciating their independent choices we can motivate them . For the students main factor of motivation is always a word praise from a teacher . We can make them motivated by giving them positive and frequent feedbacks about their success in doing things independently and trying to explore new methods of self development. We can observe and reward all their actions which will inturn give them a motivation to do things better .

Young learners are having intrinsic motivation so a recognition and appreciation is a major factor of motivation.

(b) What according to you are 3 most important tips for teaching the young learners?
Teaching young learners can be challenging just because it’s difficult to get their attention and keep it for an extended period of time. However there are a few things that will make teaching young learners easier.
1) Organization : A well managed and organized classroom is the key to a successful learning environment . Planning and organizing the study plans has to be for shorter spans as the children want to change the activities every 15 minutes , as they lose their interest quite fast . Space Organization , Apart from a well organized class the organization of space is always very important . The children need a lot of space during the task oriented activities. Organizing all the materials to implement disciple in the class as the activities are short spanned and needed to be changed fast.
Subject Organization, subject matter should also be organized properly and formulated before hand with details of the subject activities to be conducted.
2) Nature of activities : Young learners grasp faster in an environment with lot of of activities. Involving physical inclined activities which allows full movement is a very good way of teaching young learners. In order to balance their energy levels alternating the active activities and quite activities . The language used to involve the activities should be quite easy for the students to understand .
3) Recognition and rewards : Recognizing the skills and rewarding the students accordingly helps them to learn with more interest. Stickers , stamps and little gifts are wonderful ways to reward students can motivate them to learn better . Even praise words help.
Introducing small tips in the way young learners are taught can make teaching fun loving for the students and the teachers . The students will be learning with more ease and less of pressure .
