A mobile application is a one touch software program used to run on Smartphones and other mobile devices. Mobile apps usually help users by connecting them to the specific services more commonly accessed on laptop or desktop computers, or help them by making it easier to use the Internet on many devices such as a Smartphone, MP3 player or tablet computers. A mobile app may be a mobile Web site bookmarking utility, a mobile-based instant messaging client, or many other applications.

The app also allows users to check prices by fuel type (regular, mid-grade or premium). It allows users to send in prices of different gas stations that may or may not be in the apps system of gas stations. I found this app amazing and soon found myself using it everywhere. I use it on road trips to find the lowest gas prices in a 50 mile radius and on my current route so I won’t have to venture far from the highway. It works perfectly.
This mobile application has changed the way I look for cheaper fuel prices and I believe it has changed the way millions who have downloaded the GasBuddy app search for the lowest prices in fuel by bringing the process of finding the cheapest gas to your fingertips. Instead of searching for 10-20 minutes by driving here and there, the user just pushes the app and enters the zip code to where they are located or the user can have the app search for them by pressing the “Find Gas Near Me” button located in the middle of the first screen. The app even has a feature that will navigate you to the gas station you chose to receive the cheapest gas. It is extremely reliable and as fast as your phone service will allow it to be.
