Another way is trade shows, this is where manufacturers will set elaborate booths and they draw attention. They have demonstrations at the trade shows, and sometimes they even have small giveaways such as pens, calendars, or maybe sample products. They want to make sure that they are remembered by their retail and wholesale customers; this is even if they do not make a sale right away. Some manufacturers have incentive programs this encourages their manufacturers to buy more and encourage their sales reps to sell more.

Price based consumer sales promotion is like coupons or rebates. An example would be a credit card that offers cash back rebates on all purchases that are made. Another example is the coupons that see in the newspapers.
Everyone is familiar with the price-based consumer sales promotion. This is something that we all see daily. The main concept behind this promotion is to draw the consumer in with the low prices.
