I think this piece of work is very beautiful and outspoken with its vibrant colors. I would have to say the canvas is about 3 ft. and 10 inches high, but the cat itself is probably 3 ft. high. I think the condition of the painting is perfect, there are no damages. I would think the color assortment on the cat, would represent the different moods the cat has. The gold around outlining the cat would represent royalty. The cat comes from high class. The cat seems to have different color whiskers, one side is gold and the other side is silver. The nose has a tint of pink in it, and is outlined by black and gold. The nose is not your regular cat nose; it sort of has a human nose. The ears are directly even from each other, being outlined by gold; there are different colors for the outer ear, and inside the ear gold.
Now transitioning to the body, it is very elongated. Now I would think since the cat represents a woman; a woman in society has to carry herself very well and be sophisticated. The fur on the cat is very different from the ordinary. There are S-shaped swirls as the fur, with different colors. Now there does seem to be some circle balls of acrylic between the swirls. Those circle balls are very tiny, and for the most part the colors are: silver, dark blue, red, and a sky blue color. The nails on the paws are very bright and stand out. I get that the cat is pampered, and is always done. Which resembles a woman, who likes to pamper herself and have her nails done. ,
The background of the cat splits in two distinctive colors. The majority of the background is a dark coral pink, and represents motherhood. The reason being is because most of the time, when a baby girl is born, pink the primary color given. The very bottom half is a dark purple, and I really cannot tell why it is that color.
