La Hearst Tower o la Torre Hearst en la Ciudad de Nueva York, Nueva York está localizado en 300 West 57th Street en 8th Avenue, cerca de Columbus Circle. Es la sede mundial de Hearst Corporation, que reúne por primera vez sus numerosas publicaciones y empresas de comunicaciones bajo un mismo techo, incluyendo Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping y San Francisco Chronicle, por nombrar algunas.

La nueva torre fue completada después de ochenta años, y el 4 de mayo de 2006 alrededor de dos mil trabajadores de Hearst se movieron a la nueva torre.

La torre fue diseñada por el arquitecto Norman Foster, la ingeniería estructural fue hecha por WSP Cantor Seinuk y construida por Turner construction – es una torre de 46 niveles con una altura de 182 m (597 ft) con 80,000 m² (856,000 ft²) de espacio de oficina. La forma rara triangular (también conocido como un estructura diagonal) requirió 9,500 toneladas métricas (10,480 toneladas) de acero – según se informó la torre usó 20% menos de acero que un marco convencional. La Torre Hearst fue el primer rascacielos en construirse después de los Ataques del 11 de Septiembre de 2001 en la ciudad de Nueva York. El edificio recibió en el 2006 el premio Emporis Skyscraper Award,2 citándolo como el mejor rascacielos en ser completado ese año en el mundo.

La Torre Hearst es el primer rascacielos verde completado en la ciudad de Nueva York, con un número de consideraciones medioambientales construidos en el plan. El edificio fue construido usando 80% de acero reciclado. En general, el edificio ha sido diseñado para utilizar un 25% menos de energía que los requisitos mínimos para la ciudad de Nueva York, y ganó una designación de oro del programa LEED del Building Council.
