The thrust of this plan is the identification of two key segments within the market and the various means by which the marketing message will be delivered to them: product positioning, market education, value-added promotion, and premium pricing.

2.0 The company

2.1 Concept
T Card Technology Ltd was established in 1995, having previously traded in the plastics industry for 40 years.  Thames operates from a single secure site in the UK and manufactures, personalizes and fulfils plastic cards for customers all over the world. We produce cards for many markets ranging from Banking and Retail to Telecoms and ID. On the other hand, the company strives to reduce the plastic waste. By produce other high quality product. Now we are working with the Carbon Trust to gain the ISO14001 accreditation. We make efforts to recycle as much waste as possible with all Plastic and up to 80% of other waste being to produce the office product rather than going to landfill sites.
We have also established links with the Essex Wildlife Trust and support its local work by means of corporate sponsorship and encouraging our staff to actively take part in Essex Wildlife events. In addition to this the Essex Wildlife Trust is advising the company on best practice for the disposal of electrical waste and the purchasing of environmentally friendly materials.
2.2 Products
The Multi-functional plastic folder made out of from a malleable plastic called Fluor polymer, the material come from the waste of card produce. The way to produce is an innovative, yet relatively low-cost, high-tech which there is little or no comparable alternative at this time. The folder is made by using a injection molding technique that protects it from, splits seams and tears.
It is designed for use in the office and school supplier to meet your needs. Our folders are good looking, durable and economical. Use them for homework, communication, orientation and many other uses.


3.0 Current situations
As noted, the UK market for this product is the high demand and low performance. In particular, so far 80% of the folder market holding by oversea company (China. India. Taiwan etc). They provide the low quality low price or middle quality high price product. Other 20% by British company (Merit Plastic Moldings Ltd), but as the material price increase and new tax policy for plastic industry by UK government in environmental concern. They provide high quality high price product. But our company to produce this product is aimed at high quality, low cost, and multi-functional.
