I have prepared a report based on “Marketing Plan weight loss smoothies. In order to prepare this report, I along with my staff have followed marketing research methodology for those who are overweight and or those who just want to lose weight. The target market that we are focusing on range from the early 20’s into the late 50’s. Our company chose to focus on the results and opinions of our target market by relying on the data from questionnaires initiated by “Weight loss” smoothies. This questionnaire was done with the intent of finding out what the market need and wants consisted of. This survey took place inside and outside of Memphis.

We hope that our weight loss smoothies will carry a good and a competitive maket share in the weight loss industry. Forever weight loss smoothies should provide superior value to our customer who they promised throwing advertising. If our weight loss smoothies provide an value added benefits, we will have long term and profitable relationships in our business as a whole. Furthermore, if the weight loss proves to provide increasing returns, our customers can increase their lifestyle as our company increases our GDP.
Our ideal customer is between the ages of 20 and 50 who enjoy wearing the latest styles of clothing. The are two types of customers that the define the demographic of dieters: young adults who need to lose weight and those older adults who want to lose weight for health reasons. The primary difference between these two types of customers is not only the age for the motivation that is involved in losing weight.
The market for our Forever weight loss smoothie is huge in today’s economy. So we want to be able to offer products that are not only accessible, but affordable.
The market has approximately 3 other successful products who have enabled many Americans to achieve their ideal weight loss. Those products are as follows: “Smoothie King”, “Right size Smoothies, and Slim-n-Trim Smoothies. These companies have also proven that if their product is taken on a regular basis, they will be able to reduce weight in a natural manner with no such side effects of the smoothies.
However, the market for weight loss smoothies is growing at an alarming rate. With the growth of ecommerce and other brick and mortar businesses, companies who specialize in weight loss smoothies is on the rise. As a matter of fact a company is established in a matter of months, depending of the size and the availability of products.
Last, but not least , the current trends for the year of 2011 are as follows:
*The economic recovery for the nation will be slow and gradual.
* High priced diet programs like Jenny Craig and Diet to go will continue to struggle.
*No entry of new obesity drugs will not enter the market in 2011.
*More weight loss companies will begin discounting services.
