Their integration of approaches, marketing tools, and resources within an organization maximizes impact on customers thereby raising their profits and minimizing their costs. IMC’s objectives are leaned towards the development of a strong customer relationship while helping satisfy their needs. Not only does this minimizes costs but also maximizes a company’s profits. They generate financial returns and build the long-term value of the brand that are goals and objectives of IMC. Also, companies have greater accountability and widespread availability in all forms of media (Kim & Ko, 2012).
I would use television and radios to reach the Baby Boomers as they were amongst the first people to access such forms of electronic media. Also, using direct responses by calling them would work for this generation. For Generation X, adverts on the television would reach them most appropriately. They spend a majority of their time watching television and movies across different channels. Therefore, placing ads across the different channels ensures they are well-reached. The Generation Y people are those who were born when technologies such as MySpace, SMS, and other instant messaging technologies were developed. To reach them would require our adverts being present on these platforms. Our message can be passed across to them on these platforms.
