Globalisation presents challenges for management development
After world war II, international situation turned into stable, most major countries can develop their economy securely. In the recent decades of years, along with the development of technology is the deepen of globalisation . communication between different people located in different place become more fast. The rise of multinational corporations marks the growing up of globalization as well as the conflict escalation of culture and religion between different nations. The emerging of globalization makes firms’ management strategies based on home nation’s resources and culture don’t work efficient like before. ...view middle of the document...

In particular, advances in transportation and telecommunications infrastructure, including the rise of the Internet, are major factors in globalization and precipitate further interdependence of economic and cultural activities.[3]
Tension and dilemmas
The interchange of products and thoughts leads to tension between different countries. The contradict between global and local, democracy and control, Economic Sovereignty and global governance, protectionism and free trade made business corporations upset. Since the influence of globalisation is not measured precisely, many countries around the world resist globalisation firmly. Even though in market economy countries like the usa, protectionism is popular more and more.

According to ()Economic globalization is the increasing economic interdependence of national economies across the world through a rapid increase in cross-border movement of goods, service, technology and capital. the seeking of profit maximization is the primary motivation of globalisation, some firms of strong economic strength try to expand into other countries to gain more profit. Other connact between culture, religion came after economic interchange. Current globalization trends can be largely accounted for by developed economies integrating with less developed economies, by means of foreign direct investment, the reduction of trade barriers as well as other economic reforms and, in many cases, immigration.
When firms come up with new global economy, managers have to face new goepolitics of power of hosting countries. What’s more, developing countries and developed countries have different economic conditions, so managers cannot copy the strategies from home countries to hosting countries. And the most difficulty maybe the new ethical standard brought by religion. Thoughts of Management development of these firms should be considered again.
