Main Reasons of 1917 Revolution
In 1917 Russia had a new style of government. People rebelled and they took control. This event had lots of reasons but three main reasons were more important than others. These main reasons were Russia-Japan war, weakness of Romanov government and bad economy of Russia. People had very hard days so they wanted to change their government (Wade 26). My statement is people learned in communism all people are equal so they should fight to be equal and free.
Peasants and workers worked under the nobles. They were like slaves because they worked with very bad conditions and they ate very less food. Therefore workers and peasants wanted to change this situation. But they didn’t know how they can change it. After, they started to learn new things. For example, Karl Marx had some important speeches like The Communist Manifesto. He said that: “The workers have nothing to lose but their ...view middle of the document...
Therefore she lost lots of soldiers and sources. Russian economy and people’s moral decreased and it’s the example of wrong decision of Tsar. So the first main reason is related to the second main reason; Romanov government was weak. When people were waiting solution for their problems from Tsar, he didn’t care these problems inside government and they joined war and they lost. The main thing is economy for all countries and Tsar couldn’t improve economy of Russia. Russia-Japan war made economy very bad because they lost soldiers and sources and this was third main reason. So third main reason is related to the first and second reasons too. All of them came together and made a bad government. A few years later in Russia, starving began and people were in very bad conditions. All people thought they will be better, Tsar can find a solution. Because Tsar is more powerful than all people. But a few years later they realized he can’t find new way of improving government and Romanov was very bad. So citizens began acting about these problems against Tsar. People wanted to be equal, free and happy. So communist revolution was solution for people. Finally workers, peasants and poor citizens became together. Also these groups improved themselves about political ways. These groups’ supporters met in the Duma with soldiers. After these Tsar look around him and realized he had no supporters exist his private body guards. So Romanov’s government can’t do anything against them and peasants, workers and poor citizens made a new government. “Russia became a republic with no legal government and two rival institutions.” (Ingram 14)
In conclusion, people learned in communism all people are equal so they should fight to be equal and free. Therefore, in 1917 Russian people found a solution for their bad conditions plus three main reasons of their problems. This solution was the revolution.
