MAF 680: SAP for ATLAM Debate
Mun : Assalamualaikum and good morning, everyone.
Others :(respond to salam) + (morning!)
Mun : We are here today to debate on 2 issues that have been identified in our company, ATLAM.
First and foremost the first issue is with regards to…and the second issue is mainly about… Well Adilah, I am eager to know on what are feasibility studies all about?
Dila : (defining feasibility)
John : Enough on explaining the definition please. I am more concern whether feasibility studies manage to help us in decision making process, at least in general point of view.
Dila : (operational + technical feasibility) the other feasibility studies shall be further clarify by colleague, Nadhira.
Dira : Thank you Adilah.. (explains schedule + legal feasibility)
Acap : cop.cop..copp. Sorry for interrupting. May I know what is the connection or purpose of legal feasibility with the new system-SAP that shall be implemented?
Dira : ...view middle of the document...
Aziah : Hold your horses, Asyraf. This is because there is an increase in initial investment. That is the reason on why we manage to get the superb return even on the very first year.
Mun : There are more to be explained, no need to worry. Ill explains on the payback period and NPV…
John : Arrrggghhh! (hentak meja boleh bang?) All the babbling on the financial statements are all nonsense. By right you all should know that Petra will finance all the expenses on the SAP system.
I’m more interested to know, are there non-financial benefits that we might obtain from?
Aziah : Cool down Fhitrie, Ill explains to you about…
Acap : Now we know about the financial and non-financial benefit analysis. I wonder whether the SAP system can be implemented on the right time.
Dira : Let me take you guys to go deeper into Gantt chart for further details on that. Based on the research study, I have determined to kick off the analysis project on New Year…
John : Before you precede any further Nadhira, even though we have given employee with training & seminars do you think it’s possible for them to practically expert with the system?
Dira : It’s not going to be easy. Even if we manage to implement the system on timely manner which is on 1st April, however it’s impossible..
Dila : Since there are issues regarding training programme. Do you think employees would be able to adapt with new system?
John : (explain up to communication)
Mun : Wait a minute! I can’t agree with you, since ‘we’ ourselves at the moment have communications problems among us. How do you expect others to communicate effectively with potential users?
John : Look Munirah, the main point of communication is to remind every one of us about ATLAM’s vision..(continue)
Aziah : I’m curious on what are the methods/ approach needed when SAP is being implemented later on?
Acap : It will be an honour for me to answer your question Aziah. (explains..)
Dira : Hey guys, what is your opinion on the action taken against Lim when he was pulled out from the project team? Do you think it was the right thing Zulkifli has done?
Acap : Explains in detail.
Mun : I think we have heard more than enough and perhaps we should come out with a decision instead. My inner instinct suggest that by implementing SAP..
