People have a passion in their lives that encourages them to follow their dreams. Kathy Kudler’s followed her passion for gourmet cooking and opened Kudler Fine Foods in 1998. Kudler Fine Foods is on the way up by an increasing presence in Encinitas, La Jolla, and Del Mar. These outlets offer a wide selection ranging from seafood to meats and alcoholic drinks to bakery products. The products offered are both imported and domestics. The customers want to feel like his or her opinions matter and are being heard. If the customer feels like his or her suggestions have made an impact on any changes in the company he or she knows that company cares and he or she will be loyal customers. The older customers also can be beneficial to the company. The older customers will tell any complaints or excellent experiences he or she may have had that will help rectify any issues. A decrease in a risky launch or handling of a new product will be the result if this research. The company can make adjustments to the new products marketing plan. Adjustments also can be made to existing products based on the customers’ feedback.
Marketing research can benefit a company by allowing the meeting the individuals who have made up his or her mind about the product or service that the company provides. The researcher can clear or make neutral his or her mind and entice them to company’s product. This can help the researcher refine the marketing strategy. The researcher can try to make improvements from the responses of unsatisfied customers. Benchmark is the most common tool for a company to use to measure the success of the company. A business can set a benchmark or standard and assess its performance against it by market research. The benchmark will serve as standard. This will allow the company to be aware of what and where they are lacking and how to fix it. The outcomes can be too dangerous and unpredictable if the company chooses not to go for market research.
Additional Market Research Needs
Unveiling areas that are not normally taken notice of in normal marketing research is a benefit of additional market research. Additional marketing research can include identifying potential customers. Finding a new niche or target market can lead to distinctive marketing ideas and sales. Talking with people about his or her ideas, wants, and wish lists is the basic technique behind additional market research. Some of the questions that the customers should be asked are is there anything that you would like that we do not have? What would you be willing to pay for that item? How often do you purchase the item? Getting answers to these questions and more is the only way to know how to meet and exceed the expectations of the customers. To get the best results from the surveys, they should be done at all target locations. If a reasonable request exists, the item can be sold at the outlet. This will get new customers to come in and increase profits. Certain items may not sell the same in different locations, but should still be available at all locations if profitable sale is probable. Comparison-shopping is another thing that can be done. This is beneficial because it allows gourmet grocery stores to get an ides on common prices in the neighborhood.
