A quote from a senior official from the Ministry of Trade, “who do they think they are? (Than shew family) to do whatever they want with the properties that belongs to the state not to them”. General Than Shwe is obviously a strong leader who is able to stay in command for such a long period and time and able to suppress opposition parties in Burma, but he is using the country for his own personal gains.
