RE: Merger with EnviroTech
As you all know, there will be some changes happening around the company with news surrounding the merger with Envirotech. I wanted to take a moment and discuss a few topics with each of you in regards to this merger. Merging two companies’ together is a difficult and stressful process, especially when adding roughly 60 Envirotech employees to our sales staff The topics I wanted to discuss with each of you are, (1) how your behavior can affect the productivity of our employees. (2) Employment Laws and (3) working in a diverse environment

I have spoken with Janet Durham and she has made arrangements for you to meet with one of her HR reps to go over the Laws and to ask any questions you might have. HR will also be administrating your test after the session. Please send out an email to your employees that they are to take the Employment Law Training online and it must be completed by the end of the week. In addition, I know a few of the employees that are coming from Envirotech are also in the Military reserve. I want to make sure that we are aware and understand the laws in regards to their Military commitments. These men and women help provide us are freedom and to give them 1 weekend a month or whatever their duties call for. I want them to know that that we support them and will stand behind them. Last point I want to mention is that is Interclean is an equal opportunity employer and we follow state and federal regulations in regards to discrimination. As a company, we do not discriminate against any type of race, religion, origin, sex and disability. Discrimination will not be tolerated by anyone in the company. If an investigation has determined that this type of event has happened, the person(s) involved will be terminated immediately.
Diversity is important because it is the right thing to do and it drives business...
