1. Redegør for Ulrich Becks teori om risiko i det senmoderne samfund
Ulrich Beck mener at menneskets fulde ansvar for eget liv skaber utryghed og risici.
Han vurderer at vi i det senmoderne samfund ikke længere kan afskærme os fra risici. Vi er derimod også langt mere bevidste om de forskellige risici, end i det moderne- og traditionelle samfund. Det er vi fordi medierne i dag, spiller en stor rolle. De ”puster” til ens risici bevidsthed.
Mange risici er i dag menneskeskabte i højere grad end tidligere.
Bl.a. er det mennesker der er skyld i atomkatastrofer, sygdomme som er svære at kurere (pga. resistent medicin) og at ozonlaget, nogle steder, er ødelagt og specielt at klimaet er ...view middle of the document...


Hvilket stemmer overens med hvad der står i ”Cutting”.
Eller også prøver de at fjerne den psykiske smerte med den fysiske.
De bliver afhængige af den smerte de pådrager sig selv, fordi det føles som det eneste rigtige.
Skal det virkelig være rigtigt at der i det senmoderne samfund, er så mange flere der føler sådan, end der var i det moderne og traditionelle samfund og hvad er grunden til det?
Bliver der sat for mange og store krav og forventninger til unge.
Aftraditionalisering og individualisering gør at unge nu står overfor en lang række afgørende valg, de ikke tidligere har skulle tage stilling til.
Det kan være en god ting. Var ens far landmand var man tidligere tvunget til at blive det samme, også selvom man hellere ville være noget andet. I dag kan man vælge det man brænder for.
Men på den anden side kan det blive for store forventninger der bliver lagt på den unges skulder for tidligt. Der kan opstå en masse tvivl om det man har valgt er det rigtige. Hvilket også er klart,...
