Before I explain the server roles available to install Windows Server® 2008 R2, I would like to give a brief description of Windows Server 2008 R2. Windows Server 2008 R2 is an operating system, which has a business functionality more than a consumer atmosphere. Window Server 2008 R2 has such things as self-healing NFTS, which for the most part you will not see this function running on your computer. There is also server message block, hyper v, and core packing just to name a few features and functions.

Network Policy and Access Services delivers a variety of methods to provide users with local and remote network connectivity, to connect network segments, and to allow network administrators to centrally manage network access and client health policies (Microsoft, 2014). Print Services enables the management of print servers and printers. A print server reduces administrative and management workload by centralizing printer management tasks (Microsoft, 2014).
There are a total of 17 different roles available but the ones which would be beneficial to Kudler Fine Foods (KFF) would be (AD DS) because it will provide structure and security for the organizations data usage amongst user’s, printer, computers, and services. KFF would also benefit from File Service, which would help manage the files of all the organizations vendors, customer, inventory, and employee files. Printer servers would allow them the ability to send completed transactions to one central location within each store and even send to the home office. Web Server (IIS) is another server that the organization could benefit from. Being able to share information across the internet between all the sites is a vital necessity to help the organizations communicate to flow and keep the different site to maintain consistent.
