Training and Development System
Training and development (T&D) is the heart of continuous effort designed to improve employee competency and organizational performance. Training is the systematic acquisition of skills, rules, concepts or attitudes that result in improved performance while development is the learning that goes beyond today’s job and has a more long-term focus. Training and development must have clear and concise objectives to achieve organizational goals.
Since the new employees received very little formal training on the technical aspects of their job and on lean culture and team, T&D is the best way to handle the problem.

By focusing on the OMC’s current problem which is failure of providing proper training and support by the leadership team, this solution may become the initiatives to this problem.
